Refresh the page or app
Messages and chat sometimes fail to load due to a temporary connection issue. On web, refresh the page and open the conversation again. In the app, pull to refresh or close and reopen the chat. Check your internet connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile data).
Permissions (app)
If the app needs network access, ensure it’s allowed in your device settings. On some devices, background data or notifications affect how messages load. Check the app’s permissions and try again.
Browser issues (web)
Try a different browser or a private/incognito window. Disable browser extensions that might block requests. Ensure cookies and JavaScript are enabled for Swopsee. See Supported browsers.
Still not loading?
If one specific thread won’t load, others might—that could point to a problem with that conversation. If no messages load at all, the issue may be account- or service-wide. Contact support with your account email and whether it’s app or web, and we’ll help. See Messages and your inbox.
