Ways to create an account
You can sign up for Swopsee using:
- Google: Available on app and web. One tap or click to sign in with your Google account; no separate password to remember.
- Apple: Available in the iOS app. Sign in with Apple for a fast, private option.
- Email: Enter your email and we’ll send a 6-digit verification code. After you enter the code, you set a password and complete your profile.
After you sign up
You’ll be asked to:
- Choose a username (and optionally add a profile photo).
- Enter your location (postcode on web; GPS or postcode in the app). Location helps with matching and delivery options.
- Select interest categories so we can suggest relevant items.
You can then list an item, browse the shop, or explore the app. See Setting up your profile for more detail.
Web vs app
On mobile web, Google sign-in works when your browser supports it. On desktop, use Google or email. In the app, you can use Apple, Google, or email. Your account works across app and web—sign in with the same method to see your listings, messages, and orders.
