Swopsee HQ verification

What it is, premium fee, seller sends to HQ, we verify and ship to buyer.

What is Swopsee HQ verification?

HQ verification is a premium option: the seller sends the item to Swopsee; we check that it matches the listing (condition, description); then we send it to the buyer. This adds an extra layer of trust and can help with higher-value or higher-risk trades. An extra fee applies, paid by the buyer (or as agreed in a swap).

How it works

  1. Buyer or both parties (in a swap) choose HQ verification when selecting delivery.
  2. The buyer (or whoever pays) pays the item price plus the HQ verification fee (and any other fees) through Swopsee.
  3. Seller receives instructions and sends the item to our HQ. We inspect it against the listing.
  4. If the item matches, we ship it to the buyer and provide tracking. If it doesn’t match, we follow our dispute and refund process—see Refunds & Disputes and Buyer & Swapper Protection.

Fees

The HQ verification fee is added at checkout or when you select this delivery option. It’s shown before you pay. See Fees on Swopsee and When you pay on Swopsee.

When to use it

Use HQ verification when you want extra assurance that the item is as described before it reaches you. It’s optional; you can always choose in-person, locker, or standard courier instead.
