Reporting a user or listing

How to report and what we do with reports.

Why report

Reporting helps us keep Swopsee safe. Report users or listings that break our Community Standards or Prohibited Items Policy, or that seem suspicious (e.g. scams, off-platform payment requests, fake or dangerous items).

How to report

From a listing: look for “Report” or a menu (e.g. three dots) on the item page and choose Report listing. From a profile or chat: use the same type of option (Report user or Report conversation). Fill in the reason if asked and submit. We review reports and may remove content, warn users, or restrict or ban accounts.

What we do

We don’t share your identity with the reported user. We assess each report against our policies and take action where appropriate. We may not be able to share the outcome with you for privacy reasons, but we use reports to improve safety for everyone.

If it’s urgent

If you’re in immediate danger or have been defrauded, contact the police and your bank or card issuer as well. Then report the user or listing on Swopsee so we can act on our side. See Refunds & Disputes and Buyer & Swapper Protection for disputes.
