Listing quality and standards

Good photos, honest descriptions, and link to community standards.

Why listing quality matters

Clear, honest listings help you swap or sell faster and reduce disputes. They also keep the community trustworthy for everyone. Our Community Standards and Prohibited Items Policy apply to every listing.

Photos

Use real photos of the actual item. Show multiple angles and any damage or wear. Don’t use stock images or photos that misrepresent the item. Blurry or misleading images can lead to returns or policy action.

Description

Describe the item accurately: size, condition, what’s included, and any flaws. Don’t hide defects or use misleading wording. Honest descriptions build trust and align with our Refunds & Disputes Policy and Buyer & Swapper Protection.

Category and condition

Choose the correct category and condition. Wrong categories make items hard to find and can affect delivery options. See Choosing category and condition.

What not to list

Don’t list prohibited items (e.g. illegal goods, counterfeits, dangerous or restricted items). Listings that break our Prohibited Items Policy can be removed and may lead to account restrictions.

If standards aren’t met

We may remove or hide listings that don’t meet our standards, ask you to correct them, or take action on your account. Repeated or serious violations can lead to warnings, restrictions, or bans. See Community Standards for behaviour and consequences.
