Safe meeting points

What they are, Cardiff emphasis, and how they're suggested.

What are safe meeting points?

Safe meeting points are suggested places to meet for in-person swaps or handovers. We prioritise public, well-lit locations (e.g. high streets, parks, or other busy areas) to help both parties feel secure. At launch we emphasise points in Cardiff; we add more as we expand.

How we suggest them

When you choose in-person delivery, we show a list or map of nearby suggested points based on your location. You and the other person pick one that works for both. You can also agree on another public place in chat—the idea is to meet somewhere visible and safe.

Your responsibility

We suggest locations; we don’t guarantee safety at any specific place. You’re responsible for your own safety. Meet in daylight when possible, tell someone where you’re going, and keep communication on Swopsee. See Staying safe on Swopsee and Community Standards.

Nationwide

We’re rolling out nationwide. In areas where we don’t yet have a full list of suggested points, you can still choose in-person and agree a public place in chat. See Cardiff-first and nationwide rollout.
