How to list an item

Overview of manual listing and importing from Vinted.

Overview

You can list items in two ways: create a listing manually with your own photos and description, or import a listing from Vinted (and we’ll pull in photos and details). Either way, you then add Swopsee-specific options (delivery preferences, swap/buy settings) and publish.

Manual listing

Add photos (from your camera or gallery on app; upload on web), then enter a title, description, category, and condition. Choose how you’re willing to complete the trade: in-person meetup, locker, courier, and/or Swopsee HQ verification. For native Swopsee listings you can optionally enable Buy Now and set a price. See Listing photos and description and Choosing delivery options for your listing.

Import from Vinted

Paste a Vinted listing URL and we’ll create a draft using their title, images, description, category, and condition. You then add your delivery preferences and publish. Imported items are swap-only (no Buy Now). Full steps: Importing a listing from Vinted.

After publishing

Your listing appears in the shop and search. Others can like it, propose a swap, make an offer (on native items), or buy it if you’ve enabled Buy Now. You can edit or deactivate it anytime—see Editing or deactivating a listing.

Rules to follow

Listings must follow our Community Standards and Prohibited Items Policy. Use real photos and honest descriptions; see Listing quality and standards.
