What is an in-person meetup?
You and the other person arrange a time and place to hand over the item(s) in person. There’s no delivery fee; you just agree where and when to meet. We recommend using our suggested safe meeting points (e.g. in public, well-lit areas), especially in Cardiff at launch.
Choosing a place
When you select in-person delivery, we can show a list or map of suggested safe meeting points near you. Pick one that’s convenient for both of you. You can also agree on another public place (e.g. a café) in chat—staying in public helps keep everyone safe. See Staying safe on Swopsee.
Agreeing in chat
For swaps and offers, you agree the exact time and place in the chat thread. Confirm the location and time before you go. If either of you can’t make it, suggest a new time or consider locker/courier instead. See Agreeing delivery in chat.
For Buy Now
If the buyer chose in-person collection at checkout, the seller gets instructions with the chosen location (or agreed place). No chat is created; details are in the order. See Delivery when you Buy Now.
