Right after you send
When you confirm a swap request or offer:
- A transaction session is created and linked to the conversation.
- The other user gets a notification (push, email, or in-app depending on their settings).
- You’re both taken to a dedicated chat thread for that swap or offer. The thread may show a short summary (e.g. “You requested to swap…”) so you can pick up the conversation.
What happens in chat
In the chat you and the other person:
- Agree or change the delivery method (meetup, locker, courier, HQ verification).
- Confirm the items and any final terms.
- Handle payment for delivery if needed (locker, courier, HQ).
- Coordinate handover or shipping (time, place, or tracking).

Buy Now is different
If you Buy Now, no chat is created. You chose delivery at checkout and paid; the seller gets instructions to send or meet. See Delivery when you Buy Now and Tracking your order.
