Four delivery options
Swopsee supports four ways to complete a swap or purchase:
- In-person meetup: You and the other person meet to hand over the item(s). We suggest safe meeting points (e.g. in Cardiff at launch). No delivery fee. See In-person meetups and Safe meeting points.
- Locker: Drop the item at a locker or collection point; the other person collects (or the reverse). The person who books pays the locker fee via Swopsee. See Using lockers.
- Courier: Item is sent by courier. The buyer or swapper enters an address and pays the delivery cost. See Courier delivery.
- Swopsee HQ verification: Premium option: the seller sends the item to us; we verify condition and send it to the buyer. Adds a fee. See Swopsee HQ verification.
When you choose
For swaps and offers: Delivery is chosen and agreed in the chat thread—see Agreeing delivery in chat.
For Buy Now: You choose delivery at checkout; no chat is created—see Delivery when you Buy Now.
Fees
In-person meetup is free. Locker, courier, and HQ verification are paid; the cost is shown when you select the option. See When you pay on Swopsee and Fees on Swopsee.
